Park Campus has three different choir for students to join. Please see the link to the calendar for up-to-date calendar information regarding our upcoming concerts and contests!
Beginning Choir: This choir is made of 5th grade students and meets every Friday from 9:50-10:20 during the school day. We focus on learning the basics of singing both alone and as part of a group. This year, we have 29 students in 5th grade choir!
Cadet choir: Meeting twice a week (Monday and Thursday) during team time, sixth graders have an opportunity to continue focusing on learning the basics of singing, including theory, sight-reading, and two part harmony. We sing a variety of repertoire. This year, we have 42 students in sixth grade Cadet Choir!
Concert Choir: The Concert Choir at Park is made up of seventh and eighth grade students. We focus on singing three part choral music, improving our musicianship through sight-reading, theory, and vocabulary, and singing a variety of repertoire. The Concert Choir members can attend VanderCook's Middle Level Honor Fest, ILMEA Ensemble Day, and IGSMA Solo and Ensemble. As a choir, we compete in IGSMA Organization Contest (in March and April).
